Are you ready to challenge your cyber skills in real-world simulations? Enter a competition that levels up your cybersecurity capabilities. Whether you are an experienced cyber defender or emerging analyst, the President’s Cup offers the chance to test your skills and expand your knowledge.

CISA hosts the President’s Cup Cybersecurity Competition to identify, recognize, and reward the best cyber talent across the federal workforce. The annual competition features high-impact cybersecurity scenarios—from responding to incidents and analyzing digital evidence to reverse engineering and hunting for threats.

The President’s Cup features resources, open to the public, for ongoing training outside of the competition, including a Practice Area, Workshops, and the Game of the Month. These resources highlight previous years’ challenges and solution guides to give you and your team extended training beyond the competition.

Challenges are tied to critical NICE Framework Work Roles and include individual tracks (defensive or offensive) and a team track for groups of two to five. Participants can compete solo, as part of a team, or both! The President’s Cup Cybersecurity Competition is open to all federal employees, including active duty and reserve military personnel. Participants compete in three rounds, beginning with two virtual qualifying rounds, and top scorers advance to the in-person finals in the National Capital Region.
