Web Translation Priorities

This is a list of web pages from www.gnu.org that have been selected as translation priorities (in no particular order). Before starting to translate, please coordinate with the translation team, if it exists, or with <web-translators@gnu.org> in order to avoid duplication of efforts — sometimes a translation is already made but not yet installed at gnu.org.

Important languages

We welcome translations of essays into any language, but the following are particularly important:

All teams are always looking for new volunteers. Translating gnu.org articles is a tough process with many responsibilities. Please see the Translations README for a short overview and a list of all existing teams, as well as the Web Translation Details.

“Orphaned” teams

Several existing teams need new coordinators, please contact <web-translators@gnu.org> if you are interested in becoming one:

Some of the existing translations are unmaintained, because no translation team was ever formed. Volunteers to establish new teams are more than welcome.
