NVLAP Recognized by the FCC to Accredit Test Firms in Non-MRA Countries
On March 23, 2017, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced that the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) scope of recognition had been expanded to include the accreditation of electromagnetic compatibility and telecommunications (ECT) testing laboratories located in the following non-MRA countries: People’s Republic of China, Indonesia, India, Philippines, Russia, Switzerland, Thailand and Ukraine. The NVLAP ECT program accredits testing laboratories to ISO/IEC 17025 - General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. Revision of Handbook 150 released
NVLAP has released the 2016 edition of NIST Handbook 150, NVLAP Procedures and General Requirements. This addition supersedes and replaces the 2006 edition of the handbook.
