With our next generation ViaSat-3 constellation in service, we have tripled the bandwidth available across our network, and Viasat's business aviation customers can tap into all of it. Honeywell Aerospace's JetWave X next-gen IFC platform, now in service, offers the first terminal able to unleash the full power of Viasat’s network, including our ViaSat-3 and global GX satellites, to enable business jet operators to deliver a home or office-like internet experience in the sky. “The partnership between Honeywell Aerospace and Viasat is raising the bar for consistent, reliable, high-performance connectivity in business aviation,” says Claudio D'Amico, VP of OEMs, Partners and Fleets, Business Aviation. For customers, that means “even more capacity, uncapped speeds, and increased network prioritization for an enhanced connectivity experience wherever they fly,” he adds. After a lengthy hiatus, Power Up is back for Season 2. In this first episode, I take a closer look at the proven power, reliability and sustainability of the F124 engine, focusing specifically on why those qualities matter for the future of military pilot training. Readiness starts long before a pilot reaches the fleet. Pilot training requires a high volume and frequency of sorties. Sorties build proficiency, advance students through the training pipeline and ultimately produce highly qualified pilots. None of that happens without propulsion that is responsive, reliable and ready. That’s why engine selection for the U.S. Navy’s Undergraduate Jet Training System is both an engineering choice and a readiness decision. I’m joined by Matthew Milas, president of Defense and Space at Honeywell Aerospace, to discuss how the F124 is ready to support the Navy’s next generation of training. Watch the latest episode of Power Up to better understand why we say the F124 is "Ready Now. Built Here." #PowerUp #F124 #UJTS #NavalAviation

Mission readiness depends on more than the platforms in service. It depends on the strength of the industrial base behind them. That's why Honeywell Aerospace has invested nearly $100 million over the past three years to strengthen AGT1500 production capacity and supply chain resilience. These investments are helping ensure Abrams operators around the world have the support, reliability and readiness they need today and into the future. We're not just sustaining engines. Were strengthening the ecosystem that keeps critical missions moving. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gYmd7P4Y #HoneywellAerospace #Defense #MissionReadiness #SupplyChainResilience

I’m proud of the Honeywell Aerospace engineers behind this milestone. In just six weeks, our team went from initial training on Shield AI’s Hivemind Enterprise platform to our first autonomous flight. Now, we’ve successfully demonstrated two autonomous aircraft working together to execute a coordinated ISR mission. That progress says a lot about our people and what’s possible when we combine expertise across avionics, navigation, sensing and autonomy. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this happen. I look forward to what’s next. https://lnkd.in/g_ANZ4dV
