Working through fleet electrification? Spend a day with people asking the same questions.
MOVE Australia 2026 brings the local fleet community together to share experiences, build connections and learn from each other.
Charging, vehicle selection, driver engagement and operational requirements all look different across fleets. Hearing how another organisation approaches these challenges can help you see your own next steps more clearly.
The Future Fleets Theatre, developed in partnership with Fleet News Group, includes a Net Zero Fleet panel featuring councils and government fleets, plus a fireside chat on Ausgrid’s electrification journey.
Come for the insights—and make time for the conversations. Getting away from the office can refresh your mindset, while sharing practical experience helps lift fleet management maturity across the community.

Your route should help determine your fleet.
Distance, stop frequency, road access and daily operating conditions all influence which vehicle makes sense for a business.
Start with the work to be done, then match the vehicle to the route.

The US Rail Revolution:
Catching Up to Europe and Japan: The US is trading skepticism for high-performance passenger rail. Driven by Amtrak, Brightline, and state-backed projects, next-gen trains are hitting American tracks.
Six Strategic Rail Corridors:
Amtrak Cascades (Seattle–Vancouver): In service since Sept 2026; new Airo fleets slash emissions by 90%.
Northeast Regional: Amtrak Airo dual-power fleets launch in late 2027 on the nations busiest corridor.
Brightline Florida (Orlando–Tampa): Pushing west via the I-4 median, with a Cocoa station targeting 2030.
Brightline West (SoCal–Las Vegas): Fully electric 220 mph line under active construction, targeting late 2029.
Texas Central (Dallas–Houston): A 240-mile line using Japanese N700S Shinkansen tech for 200 mph travel.
California High-Speed Rail (SF–LA): Active Central Valley construction, targeting a 2033 initial launch.
Jet Fuel Replacement & Passenger Experience:
Short-haul flights under 300 miles are highly inefficient, burning immense jet fuel during taxiing and takeoff. Shifting these passengers to electric and dual-mode rail renders commuter hops obsolete, cutting carbon output by 80%.
Rail eliminates the friction of regional aviation—no outlying airports, long TSA queues, or highway traffic gridlock. Arrive downtown minutes before departure to enjoy continuous Wi-Fi, generous legroom, and room to move freely. It transforms travel time into a highly productive, comfortable mobile workspace.
Global Benchmarks vs. The US Model.
While Japan relies on dense Shinkansen lines and Europe utilizes a cross-border high-speed web, the U.S. is focusing on high-yield, point-to-point mega region corridors tailored to regional economic strengths.
Are you swapping your next short flight for a 200+ mph train?
Lets discuss.
