Happy National Intern Day! 🎉 At Meta, we set a high bar for our interns — because we know they can clear it. This summer's class delivered in ways that humbled and inspired us: → Code in production within their first week → AI tools that are transforming internal workflows → Privacy-protecting systems safeguarding billions of users → Research breakthroughs shipped to products used by 2 billion+ people daily → 100+ hackers competing in our intern hackathon — building everything from accessibility tools to wearable tech But what makes this class special is the growth we witnessed. Interns who came in unsure if they'd belong found teams that genuinely invested in their success. Third-time returners who keep coming back because the work truly matters. Engineers shipping features to millions of users and saying, "Impact at scale starts with empathy, not just engineering." We don't just want their work. We want to see them grow. And we hope the impact is mutual. To every intern building at Meta this summer: you've made us better. Thank you. 💙 Interested in Summer 2027? The best companies don't hire interns to fill seats, they invest in future builders. Platforms like Meta prove that real innovation starts by trusting talent with meaningful impact from day one.
The "third-time returners" detail says more than any hiring stat could. People don't come back to places where they were just used.
Real ownership, real impact. Meta's intern program shows what happens when you trust early talent with big problems. Shipping to production in week 1 and building for 2B+ users is leadership in action. Growth + mentorship + empathy = the next generation of builders. Happy National Intern Day🎆
High expectations can be a powerful driver of growth when they are matched with genuine mentorship, trust and meaningful responsibility. Giving interns the opportunity to contribute to production systems while supporting their development is a strong example of how early-career talent can create real impact without being left to figure everything out alone.
A commendable celebration of future talent. Internship programs that foster curiosity, collaboration, and hands-on learning create a strong foundation for professional growth while driving innovation within organizations.
Love seeing the focus on learning, mentorship, and real-world impact. Giving interns the opportunity to contribute at scale is a win for everyone involved.

Hola. Gracias. CUETNA: @MSTCLOTHES
