    FOLIATED STONE CROSS BEARING CROWN AND SHIELD IN RELIEF. SET ON OCTAGONAL PLINTH WHICH BEARS SLATE TABLET ON EACH SIDE. TABLETS BEAR NAMES IN WHITE LETTERING. FOUR STEPPED BASE. FLOWER HOLDERS ON STEPPED BASE.

    Maintenance History
    NAMES ORIGINALLY CUT INTO STONE PLINTH BUT BECAME WEATHERED AND UNREADBLE. WELSH SLATE ATTACHED TO EACH FACE AND NAMES REINSCRIBED. PAVED SURROUND REPLACED IN THE 1970'S. LIGHTS INSTALLED IN 1991. STEPS LEADING FROM HIGH STREET WERE REPLACED IN 1992. GRANTED GRADE II LISTING ON 8 NOVEMBER 2001.
