Syntax Highlighter[]
When will the GeSHi SyntaxHighlighter be added. It was requested months ago and nothings going on with it!--אורי הולנדר(שיחה) 13:22, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
Categorytree + show/hide[]
By default seems that all mediawiki projects use the standard list categories in 3 columns style. It's kinda bad when the pages have long names, which are much better to read in a single line.
Found a solution with categorytree + show n hide. With categorytree I can list all pages from a certain category. What I did was nest categorytree in show/hide, then the categorytree can stay expanded, while the show/hide keeps it collapsed and can display whatever long title is needed. Maybe it's ligther than dynamic list pages. Exerciciosresolvidos 16:29, September 6, 2009 (UTC)
I requested Variables but they said is not possible, so why this extension is here ? Dianakc (talk) 02:24, May 15, 2015 (UTC)
Requesting Extensions[]
The section, how to request an extension, does not actually tell you how to do do this. I think you have to put in a request to someone but I don't know who, yet.

Poll extensions missing listing[]
According to Special:Version on Starter wiki, there are two poll tag extensions not in help: Polldaddy Tag Extension and PollSnack Tag Extension. Some help pages for those extensions would be nice too. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 24 Jul 2017 12:39 PM Pacific
StringFunctions[]
StringFunctions are enabled by default on all wikis, rather than only on request as the article says. For example, {{#len: test }} works on wikis where it hasn't been requested.—|| Grudgeholderr ||— 05:47, October 10, 2018 (UTC)
Template extensions[]
I am always waiting for the above extensions to be installed and enabled on Fandom. I could send it on Special:Contact, but I post this here because I want to see how many people want it. --Leslie1289 (talk) 09:02, 28 May 2022 (UTC)
Suggest these privacy-based extensions to be added[]
[1] and [2] should be installed.
AnonPrivacy[]
This makes it so that anonymous users' IP address will only be shown to sysop and above.
DeletePagesForGood[]
Make it so that founders and/or bureaucrats can delete pages permanently for privacy reasons.
Note[]
I could send it on Special:Contact, but I post this here because I want to see what does the community think. Vanished user gibberish (talk) 03:45, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
- A full version of deletepagesforgood is extremely powerful and highly dangerous in the hands of a malicious users. I think limited is good. The limitations are you cannot delete root user pages as that will delete the user log (move your userpage to a subpage to delete the revisions and contact fandom staff to delete the logs) and deletions are irreversible but auditable by FANDOM staff. Eg: Who deleted what page permanently. For anonprivacy, I don't have any problems or concerns with it. Just let the rollbackers, content moderators and administrators see. The threads will still have the IP shown. Renamed user gibberish (talk) 03:51, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
- And for user rights, we don't need a founder group. Just let the bureaucrats delete it and if they are rouge, contact Fandom staff about it and the bureaucrat may be globally banned from Fandom forever for serious abuse. Renamed user gibberish (talk) 03:52, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
- To report a rouge bureaucrat, another user must provide evidence of the deleted page (eg: Show an archive.org before it was deleted) and fandom has the deletion logs. Renamed user gibberish (talk) 03:55, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
Is RecentChangesPatrol default or by request?[]
This extension is listed as "Available on request' on this page, but on the help page for the extension it claims that it's "enabled for all new wikis". Donni Iris (talk) 22:30, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
