I'm Vivien-Kathrin – and I love the moment when an idea turns into a real driving experience. In my role, I guide the integration of Mercedes-Benz Operating System into the new S-Class. I coordinate software integration, align timelines, and make sure every area - from development to documentation, production and sales - moves together. My journey at Mercedes-Benz started with a dual study programme in Automotive and IT, which included inspiring rotations across engineering, logistics and pre-development. After graduating, I continued in chassis innovation, before taking on the opportunity to lead projects for the new S-Class. One moment that truly stayed with me was when I joined the company into the company after university. I immediately had the feeling that I was exactly where I belonged. Another highlight is the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the S-Class itself. Being part of that team makes me incredibly proud. Becoming... a Visionary. #MercedesBenz #WelcomeHome #140YearsOfInnovation

MB.DRIVE*: Intelligent driver assistance systems for safer and more comfortable driving and parking set a new benchmark. The all-new electric Mercedes-Benz C‑Class comes with comprehensive safety equipment and DISTRONIC distance control as standard in Europe. The saloon is equipped with up to 27 sensors to provide first-class driving assistance. Also on board is a water-cooled high-performance control unit with sufficient power reserves for future functions. Artificial intelligence processes the sensor data in real time to assess the current traffic situation. Depending on the package selected, MB.DRIVE can assist with steering, lane keeping, distance control, braking and acceleration as well as parking and manoeuvring. The pioneering optional assistance functions include, for example, MB.DRIVE ASSIST with a lane-change assistant that takes over lane changes at the touch of the turn-signal stalk. Did you know the new electric C-Class is now rolling off the production line in Kecskemét? This milestone marks more than the start of production of a key model: with a €1 billion investment and a major site expansion, Kecskemét has become one of the largest and most advanced production facilities in the Mercedes-Benz network. Powered by AI, digital twins, flexible manufacturing and local battery assembly, the site is helping shape the future of automotive production. A huge thank you to the more than 5,000 colleagues whose passion and dedication made this achievement possible. #MercedesBenz #WelcomeHome #140YearsOfInnovation

Potholes, damaged road surfaces and confusing traffic signs. These are just some of the challenges facing millions of motorists every day. Through targeted infrastructure projects in Europe, Mercedes-Benz Connectivity Services GmbH demonstrates how intelligent use of data can modernise infrastructure management. Using anonymised vehicle data provided voluntarily by customers, the company helps detect road damage, identify unclear signage and provide a much clearer picture of what’s happening across the road network. The result: earlier detection of infrastructure damage, faster and better targeted maintenance as well as improved road safety. When every second counts. The Mercedes-Benz C 32 AMG Official FIA F1® Medical Car was a star on the race track. It never raced for victory, but it saved lives. Striking decals, roof-mounted warning beacons and a powerful presence. Clearly, this is no ordinary Mercedes-Benz C 32 AMG (203 model series). This high-performance estate car is the original FIA Medical Car used in Formula 1® from 2001 to 2003. Mercedes-AMG has supplied the FIA Medical Car to the championship since 1996, a partnership that celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. How do you make a car part strong enough for everyday use, but easier to take apart when it matters? If we want to think about vehicle components more sustainably, we need to look beyond the material alone - and ask how those components are joined, separated and brought back into use. At Mercedes-Benz, that question is shaping new ideas. In our latest episode of Tech Explained, Rob Halloway takes a closer look at two Mercedes-Benz technologies that approach this challenge from both sides: material and connection. It’s a highly technical topic, but the principle is surprisingly simple. While the PET monosandwich door pocket is designed around a simpler material concept based on recycled PET, the demountable thermoplastic rivet connection focuses on the next step: making it easier to separate components later for reuse, repair and recycling. The novel monomaterial carrier featuring a new removable rivet is only one project within Tomorrow XX, a technology programme exploring the limits of technical feasibility. What is shown here reflects a current development stage and is intended to illustrate potential approaches pursued by Mercedes-Benz. The technology is not yet available and not used in series vehicles. Watch the full episode below! #MercedesBenz #WelcomeHome #140YearsOfInnovation

The newest addition to the Mercedes-AMG GmbH family just dropped. What’s your favourite feature? https://lnkd.in/es6EXsmv
The compact sports car segment just got its biggest upgrade. And it came from Affalterbach. The all-new Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4MATIC+ delivers 500 kW / 680 hp through three axial flux motors, with fully variable all-wheel drive, adaptive suspension and active aerodynamics helping turn that power into real control. The result: 0–100 km/h in 3 seconds, and a level of compact performance this segment has never had to deal with before. It also brings the kind of electric capability that keeps the ambition switched on: up to 670 km WLTP range, 800-volt architecture and charging at up to 330 kW, adding up to 270 km of range in ten minutes. Then there’s AMGFORCE S+, a driving mode that delivers the authentic sound and feel of a high-performance AMG combustion engine, at the touch of a finger. Available as Saloon or Shooting Brake, the all-new CLA 45 4MATIC+ takes performance somewhere only AMG could. Born for the thrill seeker.🖤 🔗 Discover more - link in comments. #MercedesAMG #SOAMG #CLA Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4MATIC+ Saloon | combined energy consumption: 18.7 – 16.5 kWh/100 km | combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km | CO2 class: A2 The figures are provisional.
