I wasn’t familiar with Ace Combat’s game, but with the recent trailer that was seen at Playstation State of Play live stream. My interest is once again peaked. It gives off this anime vibe, with a more realistic look and graphic.



So it’s giving me huge Screamer vibes. Where it’s a game genre that I usually wouldn’t touch, but has this anime-like feel that makes me interested in it. I was never a fan of air ship battles in games. That’s why I’m not a big fan of Star Fox games, or games when they have an air battle segment in them. But, adding to the anime aesthetic is the cute female character, named Tasha, who shows up in the trailer and everyone is going crazy over it.

While people are being annoying and getting upset about Faye in the new God of War spin-off, we can have a peaceful conversation about Tasha. I really love Tasha design, and it gives off more of that anime vibe that I got from Ace Combat 8 from the start. The blonde and pink hair really seals the deal. I’m really trying to see if this is really going to convince me to buy that game. I doubt all the people who're drooling over her are actually going to buy the game. But me…I’m considering it.

Now I def wouldn’t just buy the game for her. I’m not a simp. But the overall package is looking like a great anime story, with a dog fight code of paint. I’m not the biggest racing gamer, but I loved Screamer, and its story. So this could be my introduction to something great.
