As gardening hasn't yet been implemented yet, my long-term personal goal is to buy the Mushroom Greenhouse (a whopping 25,000 paradimes - I currently have P10,756) from the General Store.
The para I've made has the following traits:
hello, it's me.
i haven't wanted to update lately because frankly my mental health has been Not Great. i have not accomplished much of anything past playing too much final fantasy xiv. which, i've gotten some of my long-term goals done there (i finished the pteranodon grind at last, for example), but it's come at the cost of playing anything else. so much for my goal of one jrpg a month... june went by without me touching anything but ffxiv, alas. as much as i'd like to continue the trails series, i've had no will whatsoever to work on playing them.
at least i've been reading again. i stalled out reading a few months ago; despite enjoying the book i was reading, i got into a slump and couldn't pick it back up. in an effort to get back to reading something, i started rereading a bunch of ff7 longfics i had saved on my kindle, and it's helped me to get back into it. hopefully i can return to published fiction soon.
in more positive news, my gsc lightning figure finally arrived yesterday, and she's gorgeous.
( cut for image )
i'm over the moon. the pose is based on one of my favorite lightning artworks ever (see icon) and to have it as a physical piece in my apartment makes me so happy. she's a lot bigger than i expected, even having read the product description. she's alone on the shelf right now because i have yet to unpack the rest of my lightning figures, but hopefully i can get to that soon. (at one point i had a complete collection of lightning figures; i no longer do, but i have most of them.)
anyway, that's about it for now. it's been rough lately; i just haven't had the will to do much other than mindlessly play ffxiv. it's a comfort game for a reason, but, uh, there comes a point where it's too much. so wish me luck, i suppose.
What's your all-time favorite Tumblr post/s? -kissed
Is this relief? Am I relieved that they are eating the dirt instead of fucking it? One review complains about the taste. I don’t know what they expected.
HeartQuest is an early 2000s FUDGE-derived system for shoujo manga-style campaigns. Steel Roses is the expansion that adds mecha. Supposedly it's inspired by Escaflowne, Rayearth, and Sakura Wars, but i got a lot of loose Evangelion vibes from it.
I'm just kinda amused and amazed that this exists. fascinating artifact. who convinced all these writers that mech games need AI rules. why are they Asimov again
Favorite memory associated with a season (spring, summer, fall, winter) for any day you’d like!! -haunted_cherries
well not nothing but there is definitely some ... okay, i've been locked in yesterday in updating my job searching spreadsheet + sending some applications out, did one today as well, but i think with FIFA also still going on it's been eating at my brain focus in some ways (thank god it finishes in a week or so)
like there's a bunch of stuff i DO wanna do like ...
... i think my brain is just trying to find some semblance of organization from last week so i've been split across things. i'm also just stressed with getting arcs prepared for my friend's second book + sending job apps out again + now getting back to doing small commissions for some income so i think im. scrambled a lot. and socially sucked out so it's been hard to engage much with commenting/communities
all i've been doing is using cookie run as a mental pause LOL
It's not social media - it's you and me Vaguely reminds me of a post I made where I sometimes wonder why people don't branch out to other sites if the site (community) makes them feel miserable, or inferior ... but it's a good food for thought that sometimes it's not just the site sucking, but the community itself.
It feels kind of obvious that the people you surround yourself with (willingly/unwillingly) paint your experience on a site, but it's also nice to see it written out in an article
Are there any sort of self-imposed 'rules' you have for eating food? Like, always needing something sweet and something salty, or never having certain foods touch, or always having a hot dinner even on a boiling day? -zavodilaterrarium
