Trees with vines (commonly referred to as dying trees) are features that resemble a tree being overtaken by vines.

Generation

Trees with vines appear almost identical to regular trees, but all exposed logs on the main trunk are covered with vines. When trees with vines generate on slopes or cliffs, the vines quickly grow and cover the environment.

Only oak, spruce, jungle, and dark oak trees can generate as trees with vines. Jungle trees with vines do not generate naturally (although all naturally generating jungle trees have vines) and can only be grown from saplings.

Trees with vines can be found in all biomes where their regular variants grow, except groves.

Trees with vines also have a chance to generate from their respective sapling when it grows.
