Apple iOS Rumors

In typical Apple fashion, the iPhone XS announcement of its trio of iPhones, the company didn't give much specifics about its chipset outside of the 7nm process and their core count. But RAM and clock speeds weren't confirmed.

Luckily, a Geekbench listing is here to fill in the gaps. Two benchmark sheets reveal the multi and single-core performance of the new A12 chipset powering the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR as well as the RAM on board.

As expected, there's not much improvement in the multi-core performance but the single-core score is impressive. When it comes to RAM, the XS and XS Max come with 4GB, which is 1GB more than the previous generation iPhone X whereas the "budget" iPhone XR comes with 3GB.

As before, more details will be revealed once the first units start selling after September 21.

Your doubt is founded in reason. This isn't the first time this person has exposed themselves as a liar by making unusually tall claims, and then using backing statements displaying complete ignorance of the very basics.

Recalling. I am not entirely sure it was 1.2 or 2. ^^; Plus. I am working more in the software side of CPUs, not hardware. I may mistake.

Ok, where did you got those numbers? Cause the MSM8926, a quad core A7 @ 1.2Ghz scores 445. And the MSM8916, a quad core A53 @1.2Ghz scores 520.
