The tender documents may be downloaded from BRO website www.bro.gov.in or www.bro.nic.in and print out is to be taken on A4 size paper. It is advisable the downloaded tender documents to be printed through laser printer only. Submission of Xerox copy or photo copy of tender is not permitted. 3. The work is estimated to cost Rs. 25.85 lacs (Rupees Twenty Five Lacs Eighty Five thousand only) approximately. The estimate, however, is not a guarantee and is merely given as a rough guide and if works costs more or less, tenderere shall have no claim on that account of what so ever nature. 4. The tender shall be based on drawing, specification, General Condition of contracts IAFW-2320 (Revised 1974) and special conditions, particular specifications with Schedule ‘A’ (List of works) to be priced by tenderers . 5. Not more than one tender shall be submitted by one contractor or one firm of contractors. Under no circumstances will a father or his son(s) or other close relations who have business dealings with one another will be allowed to tender for the same contract as separate competitors. A breach of this condition will render the tender of both parties liable to rejection. 6. The work is to be completed within <strong>12</strong> months in accordance with the phasing, if any, indicated in the tender form the date of handing over the site, which will be within one month from the date of issue of acceptance letter. 7. The Tender forms and conditions of contract and other necessary documents will be available for sale/issue on 09 May <strong>2011</strong> at HQ <strong>753</strong> <strong>BRTF</strong>. 8. The Commander, HQ <strong>753</strong> <strong>Border</strong> <strong>Roads</strong> Task Force, will be Accepting Officer here-in-after referred to as such for the purpose of this contract. 9 Tender (in full) either downloaded from BRO website or issued by BRO will be received by HQ <strong>753</strong> <strong>BRTF</strong>, C/O 56 APO up to <strong>12</strong>00 Hrs of 18 May <strong>2011</strong>. 10 Intending tenderers are advised to visit BRO website three days prior to date of opening of tender for any corrigendum/addendum/amendment. Tender received after due date shall not be considered for opening and no reason for delay or claim whatsoever shall be entertained. 11. The Tender shall be accompanied by Earnest Money amounting to Rs 45,000/- (Rupees Forty Five thousand only) in the form of Deposit at call receipt issued in favour of the Commander, <strong>753</strong> <strong>Border</strong> <strong>Roads</strong> Task Force, C/o 56 APO by a schedule Bank or in the form of receipt of Treasury Challan, the amount being credited to the revenue deposit of Commander, <strong>753</strong> <strong>BRTF</strong>, C/O 56 APO. Contractor, who is not enlisted with <strong>Border</strong> <strong>Roads</strong> Organization/who is enlisted but has not executed standing security bond, while submitting tender shall be required to furnish earnest money along with the tender. <strong>12</strong>. Copies of drawings and other documents pertaining to the work required to be signed for the purpose of identification by the Accepting Officer or his accredited representative and sample of materials and stores to be supplied by the contractor will be opened for inspection at the following location:- HQ <strong>753</strong> <strong>Border</strong> <strong>Roads</strong> Task Force 13. The tenderers are advised to visit the site by making prior appointment with the Commander <strong>753</strong> <strong>BRTF</strong>, C/ O 56 APO. Tendere are requested to have copies of Drawings of Pmt Structures like R/Wall, B/Wall, RC Culverts and X Section and L Section of road from HQ <strong>753</strong> <strong>BRTF</strong>, C/O 56 APO. 14. A tenderer shall be deemed to have full knowledge of all relevant documents, samples, site etc whether he has inspected them or not.
