BALKAN INSIGHT – INSTITUTIONAL SUBSCRIPTION TERMS OF USE

These Institutional Subscription Terms apply to organisations subscribing to Balkan Insight Premium content and form an integral part of the Balkan Insight Terms of Use. By purchasing or using an Institutional Subscription, the organisation agrees to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope and Definitions

Balkan Insight Premium provides access to the full archive and continually updated in-depth news and analysis published on www.balkaninsight.com (“Premium Content”).

An Institutional Subscription is intended for organisations (including governmental, intergovernmental, non-governmental, academic and corporate institutions) that require Premium Content for internal organisational use.

2. Access, Users and Location

Institutional subscriptions provide:

• access for up to 20 named individual users, and
• use within one geographical location, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Each user must use their own credentials and must not share login details with others.

Where applicable, Balkan Insight may provide IP-based access or other access control mechanisms.

3. Internal Reuse and Dissemination

Institutional Subscribers may copy and internally disseminate Premium Content within the subscribing organisation and subscribed location only, for internal informational purposes.

Institutional Subscribers may not:

• redistribute Premium Content externally;
• republish Premium Content publicly;
• sell, license, or commercially exploit Premium Content;
  • unless expressly authorised in writing by Balkan Insight.

4. Quotation and Citation Permissions

Institutional Subscribers may quote from Balkan Insight articles or analysis in their own documents or printed or online materials provided that all of the following conditions are met:

• the document or other media is not intended for further sale;
• no more than 30% of any single article (by word count) is used; and
• Balkan Insight receives appropriate and visible credit on each page containing quoted or referenced Premium Content.

5. Compliance Monitoring, Misuse and Enforcement

Balkan Insight reserves the right to:

• monitor access for compliance and security purposes;
• suspend or terminate access where misuse, credential sharing, or breach of these Terms is detected.

Termination may occur without refund for unused subscription time where breaches are confirmed.

6. Relationship to the Terms of Use

Save for any exceptions expressly stated in these Institutional Subscription Terms, Institutional Subscribers (and their users) must comply with the Balkan Insight Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.

If there is any inconsistency, these Institutional Subscription Terms prevail for subscription-specific matters.
