Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat (at Meta-Wiki only)

Meta-Wiki has a small active community. When a normal user requires the assistance of an administrator or bureaucrat for some particular task, it is not always easy to find one. This page helps users find one when they need one; asking specific admins directly via their talk pages is one way to elicit a fast response. It is only for assistance required at Meta-Wiki, help for other wikis needs to be requested at those wikis.

• Before posting to this page, make sure your comment doesn't belong at one of these specific request pages:
  • Requests for (translation/central notice/interface) adminship on this Meta-Wiki
  • Requests for CheckUser information on this Meta-Wiki
  • Requests for oversight of edits on this Meta-Wiki

Event organizer for Léna

Reason for request: Hello ! I've been organizing Wikimedia events for more than 15 years in France (Toulouse, Nancy and currently Paris area). Major one being the Wiki Queer Camp. Next event is the 12th of September and is part of the Event:WikiProject Organized Labour Month Online Campaign.

Criteria met:

• No active blocks in any project.
• Global edits: around 361K edits
• Additional Criteria: I manage a subvention from Wikimedia France to organize events in the Paris area

I need this RfC closed

Requests for comment/Prevent systemic bias move the WMF out of the USA fix WikiData appears to be problematic on so many levels I took out a non-sysop closure. If someone could be a little more formal about it, it’d be appreciated. Another Wiki User the 3rd (talk) 17:32, 5 September 2026 (UTC)

Probably shouldn't close it when you have already commented in the discussion. I agree it is problematic, but it can probably just be left and closed for inactivity after a year. Alternatively we could also give it a week or two and close it early if there is no meaningful discussion. – Ajraddatz (talk) 21:15, 5 September 2026 (UTC)
