For us, September is award season. Earlier this month we joined other criminal justice partners in recognising our outstanding teams at the Inspire Justice Awards where I was fortunate enough to be invited to present an award to deserving winners including HMCTS colleagues. 1/7

Yesterday marked National British Sign Language Day, a time to celebrate the value and inclusivity of BSL in our society. As someone who is deaf, I know BSL has a profound impact on our justice system, including our legal system. 1/3

Over the last few days I’ve had a number of productive and enjoyable meetings with legal professionals representatives including an introductory meeting with the new Chair of the Bar Council, Sam Townend and a catch-up with the President of The Law Society, Nick Emmerson. 1/7
