• Regarding ALT1, TM88 made the instrumental for Nicki Minaj and intended to offer it to her, but it doesn't seem like he actually got to offer it. To quote from the source: I really made [the beat for 'Codeine Crazy'] for Nicki. 'Cause she was working on her album, and I was like, I wanted to give her beats so bad, but I ended up not getting them to her. So I think ALT1 needs to be rephrased. The GTA hook is nice; I hadn't considered it as a potential hook while writing the article, but reading it now I like it. I also like the music video hooks. TeoTB (talk) 14:16, 21 June 2026 (UTC)

Overall: In the "Reception and legacy" section, the statement that the song was certified Gold "for sales of 500,000 units" should be changed to "for 500,000 certified units", "for 500,000 units", or just "was certified Gold", because RIAA digital-single certification units actually include both downloads and streaming equivalents, so they are not necessarily sales. The article was moved to mainspace and nominated on June 19, 2026, is comfortably over the minimum prose length, and is neutral and presentable, WP:DYKCRIT is met. @Vanderwaalforces:, I've removed the "for sales of 500,000 units" part. I think any of the alternative wordings you suggested would not read very well, so it's probably best to state that the song was certified gold by the RIAA and leave it at that. TarnishedPath^talk 09:53, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
