Anagram category post
Mar. 30th, 2010 09:54 pmAt first, I originally intended this place to be a place where anagrams would be posted as separate posts, rather than in the comments, but thinking about it, that does seem a bit limited. In fact, doing anagrams in the comments makes it easier to do things like special posts for various topics.
So I'd like to try something. If you have any topics you'd like people to try to anagram with, post them in the comments. By topics, I mean general categories that someone can work with - such as "A character from your favourite fandom", or similar. And if you see a category you'd like to try, go ahead and do so. :D

Hi, and welcome to
anagrams!
This community is intended for those of us who love to take apart the words and phrases we use in everyday life... literally. Often, anagrams can be used to reveal new, unforeseen subtexts in things we take for granted. For example, the phrase:
Dreamwidth Studios, LLC
can be rearranged to reveal why DW was created:
Crowd due mild tit slash!
One tool that can be used to find anagrams if you're stuck is The Internet Anagram Server, although it can be a bit limited. If you use Windows, another possibility is Anagram Genius, which is shareware but offers more possibilities, and a better sorting system, than the Internet Anagram Server does. Sometimes the best anagrammer is your own brain, if you can do it.
However you make your anagrams, we want to see them. Let rip!
