anyway, i am home! i went up to visit anneapocalypse this week, who is even lovelier in person, and who owns my favorite cat in the world, although my affection for him is somewhat one-sided. (the fact that i’m allergic doesn’t help. i’m still sneezing. 🤧🤧🤧)

this is... i think the fourth time i’ve seen anne in person? and i’ve been up to visit her before, so we didn’t bother with anything fancy. this was strictly a “what the fuck i haven’t seen you in years let’s hang out” trip. you know, the important kind. naturally we spent the whole time playing video games.

of course, there was a small wrinkle in the proceedings, that being the fact that, uh, i missed my flight getting there.

( did you know: if you arrive late to a flight and the door is shut, it actually does stay shut? i mean i knew, but i didn’t KNOW know. )

but i got there!! eventually!! ( and much fun was had. )

obligatory opera omnia update: i got cid’s ex like three tickets after my last post, and holy shit he’s amazing. his entire kit is an amazing homage to how it worked in ff7, up to and including the dragon he conjures out of literally nothing to heal himself, and i couldn’t be happier with him. still haven’t leveled him completely though as i haven’t had time, so i’m really looking forward to taking him into the new cosmos difficulty.

i’m terrified for august though. i’m all set for vayne and i will probably use whatever gems are left for ashe, but past that...??? tickets for serah and zack i guess?? shiva is apparently going to be Awful and i dread it already.
