Learn@UW academic technologies

Supporting the academic enterprise of UW–‍Madison with technology services

The Learn@UW team supports a wide range of academic technology tools used across UW–‍Madison, including Canvas. These tools—known together as the Learn@UW suite—are designed to enhance teaching, support student learning, and help prepare students for their careers.

Our team offers expert help through training, documentation, and one-on-one or group consultations to make sure instructors and staff can choose and use the tools that best fit their needs.

We work closely with campus partners like the Center for Teaching, Learning and Mentoring, the Instructional Technologists Group, the Office of Academic and Career Success, and many schools and departments to ensure these tools are well-managed and aligned with academic goals.

In addition to supporting the Learn@UW suite of tools, we also collaborate with the Offices of Compliance and Human Resources to help design and deliver online training for students and employees—much of which is essential for meeting university policies and regulations.
