I love trust (whether existing or developing), and loyalty (same), tight emotional bonds. Competence.

Guardian (TV)
Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan/Ye Zun

I love everyone in this show! I love and OTP Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan, but Ye Zun tugs at all my feelings, and I really want him to have nice things too (with less, you know, murdering people).

Magic. Identity porn. H/C. The slow build, the intensity- the hurt/comfort. This is the h/c fandom of my last YEAR, it's so good for it- take any scene you like, and give me more. I love Shen Wei's pain but I desperately want to see it ferreted out and soothed. I love Zhao Yunlan's cheerful disregard for his health and Shen Wei's reactions. I love Ye Zun's pain and rage and desperation and how he goes about everything the wrong way and still always reaches for his brother, and I'd love to see him forging connections with Zhao Yunlan.

-Hurt/comfort for ANY of them. Or all of them. <3 Zhu Yilong hurts so pretty and Ye Zun and Shen Wei's reactions are so diametrically opposed.
-Shen Wei vs alcohol. Anything. Any time period. Is Ye Zun's tolerance anywhere near as bad as his twin's?
-Pre-series or AU first meeting, Zhao Yunlan and Black Envoy. What if there were a White Envoy too? Envoy identity tropes!
-Envoy power failure. Shen Wei pushes too hard, and the coughing, blood, collapse (like ep 13) happens in front of ZYL or the team.
-I love Ye Zun, I'd love to see him interacting with them past an ending where everyone lives. The Shen Wei impersonation, the assumptions about their love life, the genuine little brother who wants love mixed with the messed-up desperate schemer. Or feel free to AU canon at any point before then! Make him listen, a little earlier. Let him spy, rather than immediately confront. Hurt Ye Zun, even, and show him that his brother still cares, and even his brother's annoying boyfriend isn't so bad!
-Shen Wei and "Kunlun" in the past, encountering Ye Zun before his powers activate.
-Ye Zun and Zhao Yunlan ganging up on Shen Wei to take better care of himself, or to do it for him XD
-Dixing powers!!!! They have so many, they're so fascinating, play with them! How do they work, medically? Did Ye Zun's powers fix his cough? Is it like a quickening on Highlander? Could Shen Wei learn Ye Zun's power (even if he'd never want to use it?) Or what other fun/horrible/novelty powers have either of them accumulated over the years?

I'm also up for all kinds of AUs here, so long as they keep some of the mix of mundane and extraordinary. AU the show ending, or AU the past - let "Kunlun" meet both brothers. What if Ye Zun were rescued earlier, or at all?
-AU with integrated Haixing and Dixing - still identity porn for the Envoy?
-AU wherein Ye Zun has always been a good guy
-Other magical creature/powers/aliens/detective stories. Feel free to play!

-taking care of each other during filming. Friendship things, food things, hurt/comfort, playing around, getting closer.
-’but our characters aren’t exactly the same as their book counterparts, we should play things out to establish characterisation’, and all its method-acting variations. We should be comfortable physically! (lots of hugging and petting and touching) and so on… :D
- secret literal Chinese dragon Zhu Yilong working as an actor (we know he’s too pretty to be human, right?) and thrilled-with-this Bai Yu.
- non-human Bai Yu! What if Bai Yu was a trickster (fox? other?) - monkey memes are a form of affection, right??
-What if something on the Guardian set really was magic? Or they encounter something at a night shoot, or an odd, low-budget location... Maybe the monsters follow them home.
-Superpowers! -but what would the perfect powers be to suit each one? What could they do- or fail to do? What would they just have fun with?

Nirvana in Fire (TV)
Lin Chen/Jingyan (NiF)

I love these two! This is such a good show, and Lin Chen is my utter favourite, but I also adore Jingyan.
-Lin Chen and Jingyan, after they both know who MCS is. Or before. Or after the ending. They're both such strong personalities, and such good men, and so different- I'd love to see them bond.
-Jingyan introduces Lin Chen and Consort Jing! The two of them being medics together, talking shop, talking people, being amazing, (friendly ganging up on Jingyan?)
-Ancient Chinese murder mysteries, with CSI/medic/general snoop Lin Chen and investigators Jingyan (and Mei Changsu?)
-Caretaker fatigue. Lin Chen has put a LOT into this one, worst, patient. Medical effort, time, care, friendship- even to the point of following him into a war when Lin Chen is the master of not-involved-in-your-politics Langya Hall. He laughs, but he laughs more when it hurts. I'd love to see something focused on helping him, caring about him instead of all-about-MCS. Likewise, Jingyan has put a lot of faith into MCS and takes everything so stoically- I'd love to see either of them get through the other's barriers to help, or just commiserate.
-Lin Chen injured after following MCS to war. Bringing Fei Liu home, but not Mei Changsu. Coming back with the army, to where Jingyan waits and already knows.
-poisons- pills, poisoned arrows, poisoned wine, truth drugs, poison that requires cuddling, (basically anything you like that's nonfatal and non-yeti-inducing)
-Qi manipulation during sex, and all the healer-tricks Lin Chen must know how to work on someone's body.
-Lin Chen isn't human. Or Jingyan isn't. Or both! Magical creature AUs are something I adore, and the Chinese mythology is fascinating to play with here.
- Modern China AUs- 'Surgeons' made me very much appreciate Jin Dong as a modern doctor, and I'd love to see that with Lin Chen's personality, and Lin Chen/Jingyan. Is Jingyan in business? Army? an alternate-China Royal Family AU? That could be really fun.
(AU China with much less homophobia is A-ok with me)

DNW: Making either or both of them in love with Mei Changsu. I'd like to see these two as the focus, even though MCS matters a great deal to both of them.
I'm good with both MCS-lives and MCS-dies stories in this fandom. I can see a lot to work with in either direction.

I love them gen, slash, brother, soul, joy, plum- They say it all for me! Intensity and most-important-person and devotion and everything, whether you ship them or no, it's all wonderful.

-h/c in either direction. There are SO MANY moments in the books that would allow glorious h/c follow-up. Post-bear suit. Post Polychrest. After the duel with Canning. Followup to Desolation Island. Platypus. Stocks. Anything not yet mentioned.
-competence porn! Either one of them being good at what they do.
-Any sort of magical realism. There are moments that verge on it in canon, like the remora in Master and Commander, or Jack's premonitions- feeling the lee shore before the debt collectors, or hearing their music in his head before Stephen's duel, in HMS Surprise. Sailor's superstitions that Stephen can prove utterly unscientific (but then the wind does come back....) Or go more dramatic, and full magic AU. Anything!
-Aquired animals of all sorts, living, deceased, drunk, or just passing by. Bottled atrocities and curiousities, Stephen's collections and naturalism in general.
-adventures on the high sea! Or the wide world- anywhere you like. Rescuing each other. Fighting together. Fighting for each other. Stealth-improving each other's lives.
-how did they go from 'duel' to 'no duel, friends again' in Post Captain, after the Polychrest's sinking? Such an important turn, and all offscreen- show me your take on it!
-period medicine! Purges, enemas, and bloodletting are all canon treatments Stephen's used on Jack. Feel free to go into details, or be a little more delicate- I can go Stephen-style or Jack-style either one. XD Medical adventures on other characters also welcome.

I also love the crews if you want to include them, or take a bystander pov on Jack and Stephen. Any sort of interaction, any crew members you like. Especial love to Pullings and Bonden and Killick.

Francis Crozier/James Fitzjames

-I love the 'Are we brothers' so much. So much. And I love James asking Francis to help him die, and Crozier doing it. And yet I want him to live! If you could take it that far and still find a way to bring them both through, I would love to read that.
-Any and all survival AUs. From whatever point in canon you need to go. (Mention of Hickey/his actions ok for plot purposes, but please no focus.)
- Back in England, with the scars, visible and not. Greater privacy than there was on ship or in the open. Gradually convincing themselves and each other to go for it.
-Fitzjames' daddy kink, and Crozier gradually figuring out how to work with that, and then realizing he really likes it.
- psychic predictions in Crozier's dreams. Is there anything else he can do? ...is there anything James can do?
- Meeting Tuunbaq opened them up to seeing and interacting with other spirits and creatures. When they go back to England, what is there?
- Crossover with Aubreyad, if you like! It would be fantastic.
-Crozier and Fitzjames in the British Navy -- in the 20th century. Or in the Napoleonic war, or the Age of Sail...
- Crozier and Fitzjames as cops or detectives! I have no basis for this I'd just love to see them fight crime. Maybe they have to investigate Franklin's murder?

DNWs: Hickey. Everyone dying. Stories focusing on Crozier's alcoholism, or set before he gets sober.

For shiny, Prince Escalus introduces Verona - I've seen both 2010 and 2013 Star productions, and Tybalt, Mercutio and Benvolio were all amazing - distinct physicalities and energies and they played off each other so well. All the little touches, taunts, dances.

-Any and all AUs where Tybalt and Mercutio don't die – woundings are A-ok, though! Stab one, or the other, or even Benvolio! Angry hurt-comfort ? Making nice to avoid arrest? Confrontations that are less public, but still stabby?
- Magic, Shakespearean or otherwise
- Prince Escalus will get through to these idiots one way or another – What might he try? Forced interaction, forced intimacy, trust-building...
- Mercutio and Tybalt's spirits, that danced around Romeo and Death – where do they go after that? Do they talk? Do they dance? Are they under Death's control?
-I really love the choreography of the party scene, and watching Juliet and Tybalt constantly trying to avoid and divert Paris is so much fun. Give me more of them as cousins! Tybalt being angrily, rudely protective and then nice to Juliet, Juliet being good to him too – wounded!Tybalt AU where Juliet takes care of him? (And doesn't make it all about Romeo)
- Prince of Cats – however you want to play with it! Ears and a tail, shapeshifting, were-kitty, animal transformation, anything! Maybe Juliet gives really good ear-skritches. Maybe gorgeous cat-man porn. Maybe Tybalt-the-cat rudely pisses on things belonging to Montagues.
- Death danced influence over Mercutio and Tybalt – what if Love had?
-anything with Tybalt, Mercutio, and Benvolio hanging out together. Banter, lounging, exploring, people-watching, dancing – I'd love to see them shine as a unit, instead of as enemies

I don't mind if Romeo and Juliet live, or if they keep to their original ending- I can see lots of possibilities either way.
