User refers to anyone who is logged in to an account on the Minecraft Wiki. Unlike unregistered users (IP users/temporary users), users can do the following:
- Create non-talk pages
- Mark edits as minor
- Gain user rights
- Upload files (but not override existing files)
In addition, users who have made at least 10 edits can create, edit, and move other users' user pages.[a]
Autoconfirmed users
Users who have been registered for at least 3 full days (72 hours) and made 5 or more edits are automatically added to the autoconfirmed user group. This group gives users the ability to perform many actions, including the ability to:
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Move pages
- Move files
- Override existing files
- Not be affected by IP-based rate limits
Notes
- ↑ Unregistered users, as well as users who have not made at least 10 edits (regardless of whether or not they are autoconfirmed), are unable to edit other users' user pages; this restriction is enforced by an abuse filter.
