13.3 hands, which turns out to be about perfect for me. Feronia is 15 hands. I've lost 25-30 pounds since this photo was taken. Me plus my very heavy saddle was a bit too much for her to carry.
She is! Officially a pony rather than a horse, based on how tall she is at the withers. 58 inches and under is pony size, and she is 55. Feronia is 60. One of the reasons I was able to buy her is that she's too little for the Morgan show ring. Also she's just a little too spirited to be a child's pony.
We are a good match, though I think I was a bit too heavy for her. I have lost some weight so that should be better.
