Four things make a Monday post
Jul. 12th, 2010 08:39 am1. Finally got all my vintage fics posted here and over at Archive of our Own (and because I am twelve, I may never be able to say that without hearing AROOOOOOO! with Warren Zevon playing in the background *g*)
2. Which meant that the weekend was long and full of twiddly problems, because html is like that long-lost friend you suddenly spend a weekend with again -- we did a few really cool projects together, but now I remember some of the deeply annoying quirks she had, and also sort of notice that my careless and rushed approach to her really didn't help the relationship.
3. Menopausality and deep-south summer heat is not a happy combination. Wearing lots of modal/cotton, not making any sudden moves, running all the fans, trying not to over-use the AC, and being really, really nice to any obviously pregnant women I encounter because, lord, they have to be MISERABLE.
4. Did you catch that To Kill a Mockingbird is turning 50? I haven't re-read it since childhood (in the original Book Club Edition, years before it was part of anybody's curriculum, because I am OLD, kids). Thinking I really need to read again.
