В сегодня лет я добрался до оригинала Бороться и искать, найти и не сдаваться.
Оказалось, что там ни разу не to fight, to find.

Бороться то оно конечно бороться, но я не уверен, что фраза "наша жизнь борьба, до обеда с голодом, после обеда со сном" попадает под to strive

to seek у меня вызывает вопрос, зачем в английском минимум четыре глагола для поиска. Может и большею

The story of three envelopes is a business classic for dysfunctional organizations. It starts with an incoming manager replacing a recently fired outgoing manager. Но .. вот пример. Есть кот Живоглот (англ. Crookshanks, в других переводах Криволап, Косолапсус).

Но вот .. Crookshanks..
Crook - это что-то кривое. В оригинале пастуший посох (такой с дугой), изгиб ручья, и внезапно плут.

С второй частью тоже вопрос -
хвост - tail, trail, queue, train, brush, shank

то есть в лоб да, криволап. А не в лоб - кот хитрожоп-с
