2030 Winter Olympics

The 2030 Winter Olympics (French: Jeux olympiques d'hiver de 2030), officially known as the XXVI Olympic Winter Games, is an upcoming international multi-sport event scheduled to take place across the French Alps from 8 to 24 February 2030. The host region was announced at the 142nd IOC Session in Paris on 24 July 2024, two days before the start of the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Candidate Cities

There were three stakeholders (cities or regions that wanted to host the games). These were Salt Lake City,[1] Sapporo and Vancouver.
