I will also be using
[personal profile] camboyten   to post icons.

Journal Policy

Friending: If you add me I will add you back and if you comment in any of my entries I will reply. If you add me expect to see comments from me on your journal. I just like to interact with people.

If I come across your journal and find it interesting I will add you but don't worry I don't expect you to add me back.

Access Lists: All of my activities on this journal are going to be public so I don't think I will be using this feature, however if anyone feels inclined to add me to their lists feel free to do so.

Transformative Works: You can do pretty much whatever you want as long as I get a credit somewhere. Also link me to it so I can share it! If you are posting to AO3 just check the box that says  "This work is a remix, a translation, a podfic, or was inspired by another work" so it can show up as related works.

Main Tagging System

Log: This is the tag I will be using for personal ramblings.

Pen3000: For any entry related to my writing process.

Player 1: For any entry related to my gaming shenanigans.

Ps Nightmare: For any entry related to my editing struggles.

Metalicious: For any entry containing meta and headcanons about different media I like.

So, the rebuild saga finally came to an end which marks the end of Evangelion as a whole and in the wise words of Mark Lee: That was a long-ass ride.

I started working out in March of this year. I've been working out at least 30-50 minutes/5 days a week and walking and sometimes jogging 2km/3 days a week. I also do dance workouts whenever I want something light and more fun, but it seems like no matter how many fitness challenges I do or how many routines I try out this whole thing doesn't get easier.

Just sharing my thoughts on the animes I picked up for this season now that is officially over.

I only picked 4 animes this season but it was really hard because this season had so much potential and so many good shows, actually I would say it has been one of the most solid anime seasons we had in a good while. I knew if I picked more than 5 shows I would not have time to do the other stuff I was supposed to do so I just sticked with the ones that caught my attention the most and put the other interesting ones in my backlog to catch on later.

I quit doing seasonal animes for a while because I wanted to catch up with my backlog from other seasons and PTW list and because for some good time it felt like the industry was just pumping out a bunch of animes each season and only 2 or maybe 3 of those animes was actually worthwhile, it felt like saturation just for the sake of it, quantity without quality if you will.

But something infested the waters in 2020 because the seasons have been way better since. It seems like the creative juices were flowing again in the industry and we started getting a good variety of decent shows again.

Anyways let's get into my picks. This contains spoilers for Odd Taxi and Zombieland Saga.

I've spent this week editing several batches after not opening photoshop for a long time and it got me thinking about coloring. Some ramblings below the cut.

Final Part of the June Something questions! This was pretty fun to do, it actually got me thinking about fandom in different ways. I'm so glad I came across this challenge. Thanks to [personal profile] squidgiepdx for coming up with the questions and sharing it so people could participate.

For my first challenge here on DW I decided to participate in the [community profile] genprompt_bingo challenge, they currently doing sign ups for round 20 and I thought why not? This will definitely be fun to do. I've never done a bingo before so I'm excited. I did a little more of browsing and I came across a Bingo Card Generator thanks to the [community profile] allbingo community. They have some fun bingos in there so before getting too excited and overwhelmed I decided to pick Bleak Girl Group Bingo and Fanfic Cliches Bingo.

I was initially aiming for Blackout on all 3 cards but that might be too ambitious. We will see, usually when I start writing and catch a precious strike there's no stopping me.

I was thinking that to really settle into this journal I should start with something simple that will make me write a lot about fandom stuff as I intent to use this Journal to document said stuff. I happened to come across June Something which is honestly perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Obviously I didn't start this at the beginning of June like it was intended so I will answer 5 questions daily until I complete the questionnaire. Let's go!

   Ready to Start

I've known of DW for a few years now, being an avid reader on AO3 I always come across some work related to a kink meme that usually links back to a DW community. At first I thought LJ had changed their name or something because the site and its features looked too familiar but then I learned its actually a fork of it.

I was too young to actually experience LJ at its peak so my first experience with online journals was Blogger. I used to have a blog I updated pretty frequently and I have fond memories of that time. Lately I've been contemplating getting back into journaling and since I hate my handwriting I thought a virtual one where I could express my thoughts on currents things and hobbies like I used to on Blogger was greatly needed. I realized I have too many lengthy thoughts that want to get out of my system so here I am.

I think spending time away from popular social media and getting back to actually enjoying the things I consume will do me plenty of good, hopefully writing entries will help me unwind and also get back into the groove of writing fanfiction and original stories again.
