Bothell's Fourth of July Hometown Celebration

Join the volunteers who make Bothell’s Fourth of July Hometown Celebration possible. Every role — from set-up to parade operations to clean-up — helps make the day a success. Celebrate in community, meet neighbors, and make an impact!

How to Volunteer

  1. Read about the Hometown Celebration volunteer opportunities offered: Volunteer Opportunities
  2. Sign up to be an event volunteer: Volunteer Application
  3. You'll receive an email confirming your volunteer assignment. 
  4. Attend volunteer training at Bothell City Hall on the evening of Wednesday, June 24, to receive detailed information about event logistics, including arrival, parking, check-in procedures, and volunteer roles.

Volunteer Requirements and Guidelines

  • Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to participate. Parade Route Leads and Parade Route Movers must be 18 years of age or older.
  • All volunteer positions take place outdoors, rain or shine.
  • This opportunity is not available for individuals seeking to fulfill court-ordered community service requirements.
