Honda Cars Philippines is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the City nameplate with a commemorative “30th Anniversary Pearl Edition” that’s available for both the sedan and hatchback.
Introduced in the Philippine market in 1996, the Honda City has since become one of HCPI’s best-selling models over the years. In total, Honda has launched five generations of the City—the 3A/SX, GD/GE, GM2/3, GM4-9, and the current GN.
Ms. Rie Miyake, president of HCPI, announced at the launch that the brand has sold over 150,000 units since its arrival in 1996. Known for its powerful yet efficient engines, stylish exterior, and spacious interior. Today, it’s offered in the S, V, and RS variants.
Starting with the City 1.5 S CVT, the 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition variant adds additional black accents—door mirror, front grille, and alloy wheels for a retail price of P 1,039,000.
Meanwhile, the City Hatchback 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition has been upgraded with sporty accessories: Black Honda Badge and City Emblem, Front Under Spoiler, Front Center Garnish, Front Fog Garnish, Tailgate Spoiler Garnish, Extended Rear Bumper, Exhaust Pipe Finisher, and Rear Under Spoiler
The City Hatchback 1.5 RS CVT 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition is available at P 1,279,000.
Both the City and City Hatchback 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition come exclusively in Platinum White Pearl and come with a 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition emblem.
To celebrate the launch of these special variants, HCPI is treating customers to ‘Smart Start Deals’, making the City and City Hatchback available with more flexible payment options. This is in partnership with BPI, RCBC, and Security Bank. For a limited time only, customers may avail of the following:
