In large monorepos and multi-repository environments, agents without full lifecycle context can over-iterate, burn tokens reconstructing what they cannot see, and fail outright as context windows fill. GitLab Orbit, now in public beta, maps code, work items, pipelines, deployments, and production signals into a context graph for the entire software lifecycle that agents and engineers query from the same source of truth. Based on internal testing, agents using GitLab Orbit responded up to 11x faster, used up to 4.5x fewer tokens, and produced up to 45x fewer hallucinations. Today, GitLab announced an expanded collaboration with Google, bringing a fully managed GitLab offering to Google Cloud. GitLab-certified managed service providers will deliver the managed GitLab offering, giving enterprises that need to meet data sovereignty and other regulated requirements full control over where their code, pipelines, and security data reside, without managing the underlying infrastructure themselves. We're also deepening our AI roadmap collaboration with Google Cloud. The latest Gemini models, including Gemini 3.5, are now available for use in GitLab Duo Agent Platform, and Gemma 4 is now available for GitLab Duo Self-Hosted customers.
