It seems that from an early age, Sophie has been always haunted; her mother was a heavily depressed woman that could not take care of neither her nor herself and so she was left in the care of her uncle, before being takes by social security. When she was in a foster home, one of the children there accused her of having the filth in her. After that, a cousin adopted her to try and stop his visions of her torture to stop. And finally, Sophie was taken in by Lost Lake, becoming obsessed with it and investigating as much as possible the happenings of the place, led by her incessant curiosity. As a freelance photographer and aspiring journalist, Sophie feels something is hiding the truth and she wants to unveil it. |
