24 year old writer for love, administrator for money, living in perpetual fear of my bookcases closing in on me. Escapee to Wellington of six years and counting. Socialist, feminist and firm believer that the Luddites would have embraced the internet. I have a wonderful partner of 3 1/2 5 years who is not yet on DW but will ultimately have no choice, factioncat and two cats who glare at me. I knit, particularly wrist warmers in DK merino blend on bamboo dpns. People have accused me of being obsessive.

This is a personal journal, and whilst it does contain book and movie reviews, thoughts on writing, political rants etc, it is primarily for keeping a journal about my life. There's emodrama at times, but I'm pretty good at putting it behind cuts (you can do that here, right?). I tend to view drama with a sense of humour and absurdity which doesn't always come across very well - or in other words, I don't necessarily take what I write seriously.
