Welcome to my book blog! You can call me Charmaine Baker (or, as many in High Norland do, Charming). I love to read, though I hope I'm a bit less harsh than my fictional namesake.

A Little About Me

✨ My favorite genres are mystery/suspense, historical fiction, fantasy, science fiction, and lesfic.

✨ I read YA, MG and adult alike.

✨ I'm queer (ARC aro-ace) and my reviews are LGBTQIA+ friendly.

✨ I prefer books without sexual content (due to the whole ARC-ace thing) but if some slips in I will try not to let it color my review. 😆

✨ I currently only post my reviews here due to some unpleasant experiences with confrontational authors on Goodreads. This may change in the future, but for now my Goodreads is rating-only and reviews are posted here.
