I'm Helens. This is my personal-stuff and meta journal. I am fourth-generation Japanese-American, cis female, bi, married to a dude, monogamous, fortysomething, a progressive, a social justice warrior, a cat lover, and a mom.

For both fanfic and original fic, I am extremely pro-transformative-use; if you want to remix (including switching characters or fandoms; I'm really very open to variations), podfic, illustrate, translate, or otherwise use one of my works, go ahead! HOWEVER! If it is archive-locked, I'm only okay with remixing and podfic if yours is, too. Hockey RPF is really really fraught with people doing vanity Google searches, and I would rather not have my stuff easy to find.

What I'm watching:
All the Seattle Kraken hockey games, occasionally other hockey games, hockey videos on YouTube, the Goulet Pens YouTube channel.

Other stuff I do:
Using tons and tons of fountain pens and cool ink, ice skating, reading, knitting, crocheting, chasing a 6-year-old, and snuggling my cats.

Subscribe/access/unsubscribe/unaccess at will; no harm no foul no drama no matter what you do with your subscriptions or access. (I do not check this.)

I am just barely getting back to fandom after 6+ years away. I am unlikely to subscribe to anybody, but am happy to squee about the Kraken, Sam and Bucky, or Charles and Erik with you here or on Tumblr.
