- The Cue Cards, and Clara's Narrative Shaping - Doctor Who meta by
actual-bill-potts. The cue cards always struck a wrong note for me; reframing them as being about Clara's need for control rather than something the Doctor actually needed makes a lot of sense. I never have gotten around to writing a post about DW and the Enneagram, but let me take this opportunity to make a plug for Clara as a Three and to direct you to this quite apropos overview of Three/Seven relationships (the Doctor being a Seven).
- The Trial of Galadriel - Longish article summarizing (the different versions of) Galadriel's life story, drawing on the Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales. I really like how the author here draws on various pieces of Galadriel's history (including things like her friendship with Melian) to try to get at the essence of the character and her personal mission.
- This Adorable Jyn Erso Cosplayer Spent Star Wars Celebration Handing Out the Death Star Plans to Every Princess Leia - Oh, my heart. <3
