I started out as an engineer and progressed via technical writing and a PGDip into librarianship. Two redundancies later (one after 12 years, the other after 7 years) I changed career again and worked as a historical interpreter at a castle for five years. Nowadays I work as a history tour guide.

My main random interest is history, I'm a member of various living history groups and occasionally I get articles or photos published - and I continue to hope that one day maybe someone will pay me for them...
also have a Fotolog and an account at Deviant Art.
Oh, and a Cult too (although that wasn't my idea...).
