Ok, let's do this. For now, the content is mainly fandom writing with random fic linkage, research notes and general speculation with the occasional detour into real life. This journal is an exercise/experiment where I will attempt to get all the crack and insanity outside of myself in a semi public setting, rather than locking/bottling it inside out of shame. I like pulpy schlock. I like things with no redeeming literary or artistic value. I like unicorns, fantastic mustaches, fight scenes and mind porn (or fight scenes as porn, or various other permutations). I tend to attach onto highly unpopular characters and pairings. As a result, some really odd, cliche and/or badly written things will be falling from the sky like rotten meat running through a wood chipper. Bring a raincoat and umbrella. I am very much a slash and gen writer. Occasionally het or female-centric. Favored topic is food or fights. I try not to be too serious, but I won't shy away from topics of race when discussing fannish things. Also, as a word of warning, my squee-style is long-winded, analytical and may be a turn off in a squee-harshing-overthinking-talk-too-long sort of way. I do try to keep it restricted to my journal. I also tend to veer into tldr; When something interests me, I research it to death. Then I beat it into paste. Then I beat it some more until I am sufficiently bored and move on. Feel free to subscribe or unsubscribe at will. The only things I lock are the rare personal post and rough drafts for fic.
