Yes, I've gone Friends Mostly, for a variety of reasons. If you're a friend who reads my journal, but you don't have an LJ, get one! They're free and it's fun! You can reveal as much or as little about yourself as you like.

I'm Susan the Singer, the wife of Guy, dog owner, pianist, and all-around crafty person. I crochet, recently learned to knit, cross-stitch, sew, scrapbook, and I make bridal accessories like veils, bouquets, and ringbearer pillows. I worked in mortgages/real estate from 1995 to 2008 and there isn't much I haven't seen or heard of in residential real estate/mortgages. I'm always willing to lend an ear and advice as I can, within the U.S.
I'm now a substitute teacher and I love it. . . usually. I really like kids and helping kids learn what they need to know to be contributing members of society.

Guy and I married on Oct. 14, 2000. No children yet, but we do have our furbabies.

I'm the proud owner of 2 dogs, Jelly, born 1-1-04 (a German shepherd/Lab/Rottie mutt); and Maynard, born 2-14-05 (100% Rottweiler). I believe that breed specific legislation needs to be fought wherever it rears its ugly head. Any dog is capable of attacking and injuring a human or other animal, be it Chihuahua or Great Dane. My dogs have never attacked anything but food. I have raised 2 puppies (2 years in a row!) since they were old enough to leave their mothers and I'll help a new dog owner as much as I can with stories of my two.

My friends are a wide and varied group and all deserve respect. I'm a fairly open-minded person and I would hope that those who comment in my journal would also be open-minded and respectful to ideas and opinions that don't agree with their own. I reserve the right to screen, delete, and ban those who aren't respectful of others in my friends list.

I am a Christian and attend the United Church of God on the Sabbath. I also believe that the food laws and Holy Days listed in the Old Testament are still valid and should be observed today. This is my belief and I will happily answer any questions asked about it. I do not try to force my beliefs on anyone else.

I am an aunt to Rachael, Ryan, Heather, Maggie, Colin, Guinevere, Darius and Jeff & Sarah. I'm a pseudo-aunt to my best friend's boys: Adam, Noal, and Evan.
