What do i post here?

Everything, and not much, really.
Thoughts about Life...and elaborations on day-in and day-out situations. Sometimes the posts are silly and sometimes serious. If a Youtube strikes me, I might post that, sometimes I bust loose with a meme, but not very often. Luckily for my friends, I almost never post about politics, even though I care very much about the world around me. I think am too uninformed to write knowledgeably about Presidents and Politicking and foreign comings and goings, and I'm happy not to add my voice to the cacophony of shrill opinions about situations that can't really be understood.

This is a personal place. Probably because that is what I feel I might actually know something about.

For anyone who's still listening, I'm a 54 year old female entity...sometimes human. I am a visual artist and I teach to keep those pesky bill collectors at bay...intermittent vegetarian...and am owned by 8 cats...and here is a little picture of who is in charge around here...we got the "who" on the right and the "where" on the left: today's date: July 10th, 2011. I just now realized that I forgot to mention that I am right and left challenged!!!! My kitteh is on the LEFT, duh!! irl, I actually do not know my right from my left, and when giving driving instructions always prefer using compass directions. :)

I do sometimes post about my cats...if you dislike cats, there is a good chance that you won't like me, either. :P

FRIENDING ON LJ:

"Friending" is a reciprocal privilege. I am not here every day of the week, but certainly often enough to be felt. Yes, I will actually read your entries, even if some are missed. I will also comment. I get to know (more or less) and come to care (more or less) about every person on my list.

Hopefully, that works both ways. If you never come here and never comment, then eventually I will remove you. It makes no sense to keep folks here who don't care. Another thing that I should probably mention is that I get uncomfortable with people who lurk in silence, who I know read and never acknowledge that they're here.

As LJ shrinks, it has become true that a lot of my friends are also friends with each other, this makes it feel kinda like family around here!
