There seems to be a lack of soap opera love on dreamwidth, and I created this community in the general spirit of "if you build it they will come," since none of my online friends are into soaps, and it only takes a handful of members to create a really strong community.
The basic idea is to discuss/post anything and everything related to daytime soaps, including: soap news, episode commentary and discussion, userpics/icons, graphics, fanfiction (including slash), etc.
Feel free to join and post. Just use common sense, and we'll flesh out the rules as we go.
