Mariliendre ('Fag Hag') is a Spanish musical comedy series created by Javier Ferreiro and produced by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo. It aired on Atresplayer on 27th April 2025.
Living a dull existence, Meri Román (Blanca Martínez) reunites with her former entourage of gay friends Jere (Martin Urrutia), Luis (Omar Ayuso), Saúl (Carlos González) and Santi (Álvaro Jurado) ten years after her height as a diva of the Madrid gay scene.
Mariliendre contains examples of:
- The 2000s: The past is set during the 2000's, so there are a lot of cultural references and songs.
- The Beard: Inés was this for Manolo. She found out after Manolo's boyfriend, Paco, died, and agreed to stay married as friends.
- Binge Montage: Several, during Madrid gay scene's parties.
- Birthday Party Goes Wrong: In the past, everything crashed down -making the friends' group cut contact- during Jere's birthday party.
- Bully Hunter: When he was a teen, Jere's classmates bullied him because of his homosexuality, so Meri defended him, and that's how became friends.
- Closet Gay: Manolo was this during his whole life, and his daughter Meri only finds out after he's dead.
- Daddy's Girl: Meri used to be close to her dad Manolo.
- Death of Personality: In the past, Santi overdosed, but didn't die. Instead, he got brain damage. His memories are fuzzy and, nowadays, he still thinks is ten years ago.

- Plot-Triggering Death: Manolo's death is what prompts Meri to reunite with her former friends ten years later.
- Secret Relationship: Manolo had a boyfriend, Paco, for ten years, until Paco died. Manolo never told anyone, although his wife Inés eventually found out, and never said anything until their daughter Meri asks her about it.
- So Happy Together: Jere and Santi's relationship, before everything went crashing down.
- Tragic Mistake: Santi was very drunk, and Meri gave him more drugs, making him overdose. Leo told them while visiting Santi at the hospital, so they cut contact with her.
- The Un-Reveal: It's unknown why Manolo killed himself.
- We Used to Be Friends: Meri, Jere, Santi, Leo, Luis and Saúl used to spend a lot of time together, until they abruptly cut contact.
